"very atmospheric and in some pieces of moving tenderness"

"Friedrich Kleinhapl kann so seine Leidenschaft für den Tango noch einmal wunderbar ausleben.

In 2014, cellist Friedrich Kleinhapl and pianist Andreas Woyke recorded what Pizzicato called a « breathtakingly multifaceted tango program. » Now Kleinhapl returns to the same repertoire with the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra under Robert Kruzik.

The music does not have the same spontaneous dialog that Kleinhapl and Woyke achieved, but in the arrangements by Alexander Wagendristel, Andreas Woyke and Leos Kuba, the orchestral sound makes it more colorful, sometimes more playful, but overall very atmospheric and in some pieces of moving tenderness.

Once again, Friedrich Kleinhapl is able to live out his passion for tango in a wonderful way."
