This recording – the first on the new Swiss label inAures – presents concertos for obbligato organ by Vivaldi, played on two organs from 18th-century Venice.

The ensemble Sestier Armonico performs the music in a lively, spirited and colorful manner, with a sure sense of the melodic richness and stylistic variety of the pieces. The balance between the very attractive (almost graceful) sound of the organs and the ensemble is excellent: the organ sound does not dominate the orchestra, but is embedded in the orchestral sound.

The recordings emphasize the high frequencies and are accordingly bright and transparent.
